Thread – Lift
Tighter & Firmer Skin
Radio Frequency and Fragmented Infrared
Radio frequency treatment has become the choice of treatment for patients who do not want any cuts or needles injected to their face for a lift. Radio frequency treatment has come a long way. Using only the latest technology with the state-of-the-art ANTILAX Machine, this procedure will give you the best result possible. The ANTILAX combines radio frequency and fragmented infrared during the procedure. This means, with the radio frequency you will experience collagen remodeling, causing your face to be firmer, reducing your wrinkles, eliminating eye-bags & getting rid of any visible sag, and with the fragmented infrared you will get an improved muscle tonicity to sustain the new, firmer and lifted look that you have obtained. The ANTILAX is the only machine to have successfully combined the two technologies. Studies have shown that 3 months post- procedure, patients will experience and notice a further improvement by 41% from the initial results.
The ANTILAX can also be used on the abdomen for firming up the flab’s or post liposuction to get an even and flat abdomen, on the arms to firm up the loose skin at the triceps area, on the buttocks and thighs for a curvier and contoured look to boost your confidence.
This is a safe and pain free procedure which will promise you results WITHOUT cuts, sutures, needles or complications. A quick fix with results that all surgeons are talking about!
Thread – Lift
Thread-Lift for facelift
This procedure has gained tremendous popularity since it was aired on The Oprah Prime Time Talk Show in mid 2005. It has become the number one choice procedure for patients who do not wish to get a surgical facelift done under general anesthesia. With the use of imported, specially-designed and laser-cut ENDOTINE RIBBON, SILHOUETTE LIFT or HAPPY LIFT, doctors can perform non-surgical facelifts or “thread-lifts” on cheeks, brows, jowl, neck and breasts for patients who want a lift but are not ready for surgery. This procedure gives long lasting results.
Best Candidates for THREAD-LIFT
This would be the best choice for anyone who is not fit for surgery (i.e. Severe Hypertensive or Uncontrolled Diabetes) or for those who do not want to undergo any procedures under general anesthesia. Both men and women whose face and neck have excess static facial lines and sagging skin would be the right candidate for the THREAD-LIFT procedure. It can be used to lift sagging eyebrows, adjust asymmetric eyebrows, reposition sagging cheeks, and lift drooping soft tissue of the mid-face, lower-face and neck. It is also suitable for patients who have loss of volume around the facial area. The average age for this procedure is between 35 – 60 years. THREAD-LIFT facelifts are not for everyone, mainly patients whose faces are very heavy or very thin are not ideal candidates.
Procedure
For the THREAD-LIFT, the procedure is carried out under local anesthesia, and your face will be insensitive to pain. Under local anesthesia, you would not feel groggy or heavy headed after the procedure. Depending on the number of threads used, the procedure can take between 45 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The THREAD-LIFT procedure will be done in a sterile environment. After administering the local anesthesia, the threads will be inserted 2 cm behind the hair line and will exit at the naso-labial area and jowl fold area or depending on where the lift is needed. At the area of the thread insertion, a subcutaneous suture is done to hold the threads in place. Once the threads are secured, the sagging area will be massaged upwards against gravity and the barb-like structures along the threads will latch on the subcutaneous tissue to hold the sagged skin in place. The excess thread will be snipped off. No other sutures or cuts will be done, therefore leaving no scar on the visible area of the face.
Recovery and Post-Op Care
The THREAD-LIFT has minimal downtime. Post procedure patients will be prescribed with prophylactic antibiotics. There may be some minimal bruising from the procedure but this would only be for a short period of time, between 1-2 days. Patients would feel firmness & tightness straight away from the THREAD-LIFT. The THREAD-LIFT will continue for up to 3-5 years, at which point a second procedure may be performed if desired. If there is any discomfort after surgery, it will be lessened with medication prescribed by the doctor. There will be a post-procedure review by the doctor after seven (7) days. The good thing about this procedure is that you don’t have to walk around with any bandages.
Other Recommended Procedures with THREAD-LIFT Facelift
A THREAD-LIFT facelift is often done with other treatments, such as combining radio-frequency post THREAD-LIFT, nose reshaping and eyelid surgery or just adding on BTA to enhance the lift. Other options include the ANTILAX, which works to a lesser degree, and invasive plastic surgery. |

Endotine Forehead Device |
Endotine Face Lift
It refers to a set of the latest surgical technology which helps to restore facial geometry and skin appearance by using fixation devices to counter the signs of aging at different part of the face. Among the more common types of Endotine procedures: the forehead lift, the midface lift, the jowl lift and the neck lift.
All the Endotine devices have a surface that consists of tiny tines which play a key role in tissue fixation and lifting. They are also made of bio-absorbable co-polymers called L-lactide-glycolide, which will be absorbed by the body in nine months to a year. No sutures that can pinch the hair follicles hence leading to hair loss. |

Insertion for Endotine Midface |
|
Take the midface lift for example, there is a method called the Midface ST – Soft Tissue Suspension where the Endotine Midface device is inserted through the temporal incision. Once the device is in position and deployed, digital pressure is applied over the cheek to engage the tines in soft tissue. The insertion tool is then removed. By applying tension to the anchoring leash exiting the temporal incision, the midfacial tissues are elevated to the desired position. Finally, the leach is anchored to the temporal fascia with suture and the excess leash will be trimmed off. |

Immediately after surgery, you will experience some temporary swelling and bruising which last for up to 10 days. The first night, it’s important to rest with your head elevated. You can use a cold compress to help control swelling. You may also experience mild discomfort at the surgical site, which is typically controlled with doctor prescribed oral medications. You can usually take a shower and wash your hair a few days later. When healing begins, you may experience numbing and itching at the incision sites.
As to any surgical risks which involves, each year, thousands of men and women who undergo such procedures experience no complications. Although problems are rare, do remember that you can help minimize risks by following the advice and instructions you received from your surgeon, both before and after surgery.
Silhouette Thread Lift
One of the most advanced non-surgical face lift procedures available!
As we age, our facial tissue starts to lose its firmness and volume. This result in a sagging, worn-out appearance, prompting many people to seek face lifts.
The conventional surgical lift produces very good results – but requires general anesthesia, invasive surgery on the face, lengthy recovery time and possible scarring. It is also costly.
Non-surgical face lift procedures provide an alternative to surgery. The thread lift is one such procedure, involving the minimally invasive use of fine needles, wires and threads (or sutures).
Thread lifts have become increasingly popular and there are now several different types of thread lifts – one of the most advanced being the Silhouette Lift, which uses the revolutionary Silhouette sutures (“the suture of the future”).
Silhouette® Lift is an innovative non-surgical suture solution for an instant face-lift. This new suture works with cones and knots in place of barbs used in conventional sutures. The patent pending design of 11 flexible, absorbable, hollow cones held by Silhouette® suture allows for a much stronger and longer-lasting anchoring effect. Silhouette's non-absorbable polypropylene suture is 50% thinner than the thread used in barbed suture design, which decreases knot palpability and pain in the temporal area. This 45 minutes lunch-time procedure requires no general anesthetics, no hospitalization and no long recovery time. Patients may go back to normal activity within 2 days, and in 2 weeks the signs of procedure will disappear and the face will recover to its natural soft aspect. The indication of Silhouette® Lift includes nasolabial folds, expression lines, as well as oval of the face, cheeks and necks. An instant eyebrow lift is also achievable with this innovative technology. Silhouette® Lift received both a FDA agreement and a CE mark, it promises an instant removal of facial tiredness with a guaranteed safety profile. |

What Can Silhouette Do For You?
Face the future with the face of your youth
Silhouette Lift enables you to enjoy the benefits of a face lift – without the disadvantages of surgery. In principle, the Silhouette Lift is similar to other thread lifts.
By introducing thread-like sutures into the facial tissues, a doctor can ‘lift’ the tissue and then anchor it in place.
Silhouette Lift is ideal for correcting signs of aging in the Nasolabial Folds, Eyebrows, Expression Lines, The Jowls and the Neck.
The Results – How Soon and For How Long?
An instant lift that lasts.
The effects of Silhouette Lift are visible immediately after the procedure! The results typically last for as long as 3 to 5 years. The Silhouette sutures are designed not only to be of greater strength but also to encourage the kind of tissue growth that will hold the lift in place longer.
